Dark chocolate, warm cinnamon, and a hint of cayenne over ice — the iced Mexican mocha latte is bold, complex, and unlike anything else in your coffee rotation.
Mexican chocolate has a flavor profile unlike any other — rich dark chocolate with warm cinnamon spice and just enough heat to make things interesting. It's part of the growing global-inspired latte trend, and it's one of those drinks that makes people stop and ask "what is that?" Our Mexican Chocolate Coffee brings that signature spiced chocolate depth right into the brew. This is the iced spiced mocha for people who want something with a little more personality.
What You'll Need
1 cup brewed Willow Creek Mexican Chocolate Coffee (strong brew)
¾ cup milk of choice
1 tbsp chocolate sauce
Pinch of cinnamon
Tiny pinch of cayenne pepper (optional but recommended)
Handful of ice
Optional: whipped cream, cinnamon dusting, dark chocolate shavings
How to Make It
Brew your Mexican Chocolate Coffee strong and stir in a pinch of cinnamon and cayenne while still warm.
Drizzle chocolate sauce along the inside of a tall glass.
Fill the glass with ice.
Pour the spiced coffee over the ice, then add your milk.
Top with whipped cream, a dusting of cinnamon, and dark chocolate shavings. Serve immediately.
Pro tip: The cayenne is subtle — you won't taste heat, just a warm finish that lingers. Start with a tiny pinch and adjust to your preference. For a spiced chocolate cold foam, blend heavy cream with a pinch of cinnamon and cayenne until thick — it's a stunning topper.
